Why Choosing Happiness Is Not As Easy As You Think

Thank you Frost Bank for partnering with me on this post! As always, all opinions and review are my own.

Good morning, friends! If you remember from THIS POST when I first began the 30 Day Optimism Challenge, it’s slowly wrapping up and I’m here to sift through my feelings about the challenge. It was an invitation to choose happiness. As I typed that, it sounds silly. Right? I mean, why would anyone shy away from choosing happiness? Here’s the honest truth for me and most people: It’s easier and more comfortable to choose worry, guilt, anxiety, frustration, sadness, and resentment. Those are easy, effortless feelings. View Post

Backyard Patio: Before & After

Our 1st summer in this backyard and we have 100% lived it up! Last October, when we were looking at homes I told my hubby that I wasn’t willing to pack up and sell our current home unless there was a pool in the backyard of our new one. Farmhouse Sink: Tips For Picking the Perfect One

Happy Friday! I’ve had many of you ask about our farmhouse-style sink and I’m so excited to share my review of the EMMA sink by Whyte & Company. We moved into our home 8 months ago and one of the first renovation designs I tackled was to replace the sink with a beautiful white, apron front sink. Please understand, there’s nothing wrong with the previous sink, there’s just everything right with a timeless, deep farmhouse sink. (wink wink). We scrub pots & pans, clean clothes & rinse swimsuits, and we even wash our babies in the sink.

Read the full kitchen review here and here.

Unfortunately, not all apron-front sinks are made equally. View Post
