College Sweethearts & Tailgating Fun!

Woo hoo! It’s that tailgating time of year and these kiddos show up for the games! We love the excitement of it all. Aaron and I are college sweethearts. We were set up on a blind date by my older sister in May and were married 3.5 months later! We lived in a 500 sq ft studio apartment a few blocks away from BYU, Provo campus. Every morning we’d wake up and strap on our backpacks and hold hands while walking to school. We’d meet up in between classes or sit next to each other in classes that we were taking together. Such. Fun. Memories. You won’t find us watching a football game unless it’s a BYU game, Dallas Cowboys, A&M vs Texas, or a local high school football game. We show up for the food, spirit wear, and activities!

BYU plays this weekend and the kids are sporting their darling BYU Jersey’s! We snagged everything for the tailgate party from Walmart. They have everything you could really need, from the snacks, to fun games…even your favorite sports team apparel! The mini jersey’s even came with BYU helmets, haha. We died over them and the kids had so much fun running around and acting silly. Aaron and I love the Grey BYU shirts since it has the fun cougar with a felt logo. I even found these darling BABY ONESIES and Navy BYU SHIRTS. I’d like to snag these Adult White Long Sleeved BYU Shirts and White BYU Hats next time I shop.

We had a good time showing the kids tons of videos with BYU’s cougar mascot, “Cosmo”. Loved watching the looks on their faces when I told them my Grandpa Moon was “Cosmo” the Cougar when he attended BYU many years ago. We have LOVED having this BEAN BAG TOSS that we found on sale. Ethan & Charlotte were really getting in to the LADDERBALL TOSS. Little miss Avery was either squealing with victory or screaming with frustration depending on where the balls landed after she threw them high into the air. It was a good moment to teach her good sportsmanship etiquette. haha. Good thing we have years of family games and sporting events to really let that sink in!

Thanks Walmart for partnering with me on this post!

You have a beautiful family and I love the story of meeting and marrying your husband. You were suggested by another influencer and she was right. I do enjoy your stories and posts.

Your family is beautiful I’d love to be friends with Savannah because I think we might be the same age! I think y’all have the best life and I’d love to meet y’all so so much. I love your family + blog 🙂 Want to meet you and be good friends. Also, y’all have a family of six and I have a family of six! What a coincidence 😜 I live in Kentucky and you live in Texas , so we’re far apart but that can’t keep our families from being friends! Hope we get to be friends.
Let your kiddos know I want to be friends!

    Thanks! XOXOXO
