Macy’s Sneakers Review

With 4 kids in tow, we’ve been through a lot of shoes. I used to teach group fitness classes and had to sift through pairs upon pairs of sneakers to find the best shoes to help me lift and jump the best without causing injuries. We’ve tried all the brands and I’ve heard the excitement (along with the complaints) from these kiddos about the shoes they wear too. I swear, kids are the best source for the most brutal and honest reviews!

And since we are a few weeks deep in to school and their shoes have officially survived recesses, we’ve found some winners! All are available at Finish Line at Macy’s where you can grab the latest styles.

I love a classic black sneaker. When I was teaching classes, I always chose a black or pink sneaker. It’s hard for me to veer from such a solid winning color but I really loved this black & pink Adidas UltraBoost Running Sneakers from Finish Line. Aside from being ultra cute, these darling sneaks are supportive and breathable. I love when the design slopes around the ankle like this. It’s incredibly flattering and comfortable.

The cutest little shoes that can survive all the bruises little babes manage to get themselves into. Little walkers need stable shoes. My 2 little big sisters picked out their shoes. These girls love pink. Plain and simple. They really like the Adidas Little Girls’ X-PLR Casual Athletic Sneakers! The girls say they’re easy to get on and the shoe laces stay tight. The shoes go everywhere from the jungle gym to swinging across the monkey bars during recess. They walk to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon. Since the girls love these shoes, mama loves these shoes.

My son, Ethan, opted for these Nike Little Boys’ Flex Runner Slip-On Athletic Sneakers. They looks SO COOL! Bye-bye to the heavy, clunky sneakers that I needed to help tie-up the laces. These are ultra lightweight and have the best slip-on design. I can’t tell you how awesome slip-on shoes are for my little man so he can get himself ready before rushing out the door in the mornings… since mama hasn’t sat down to teach him quite yet. haha.
