Back To School with Pottery Barn Kids

Who’s ready for school?! Ready or not, we have 3 Crossley kids heading to the same school in just a few short weeks! I am thrilled they will all be together! And little miss Avery will still stay home with her mama. We haven’t talked about school much since we are neck-deep in the summer. Quite literally, we’re drenched in sunscreen and swimming in the pool every day.

My favorite thing about preparing for the upcoming school-year with the kids is picking out backpacks and lunchboxes. And y’all, they had SO MUCH FUN!! Pottery Barn has the most exciting options with lots of colors and patterns. Savannah and Charlotte squealed when they saw the rainbow backpacks. They also love unicorns, so they mix & matched by snagging the unicorn lunchboxes. Ethan thought the Shark backpack looked super cool but he is also a Batman lover. He opted for the shark backpack & lunchbox with a Batman insulated cup. Pottery Barn has great insulated cups that seem to never spill! Since kids tend to lose water bottles and lunchboxes, I made sure to personalize them with their very own monograms. It was super cute to watch the kids spell out their names on their new back-to-school gear! The cutest pink & gold unicorn backpack had Avery’s name written all over it. It. Is. To. Die. For. She packs her favorite book and lovey blanket in it every day.

Scroll down to see a few Mom & Kid approved lunches the kids helped me put together in their Bento boxes.

I am SO excited to ditch the plastic bags and instead use these Bento Boxes. They’re durable and keep the packed lunches very organized. Another great thing is that the container top is attached! In the past, it’s been easy for my oldest to accidentally toss lids in the trash. But these containers and tops will stay with us all year long. Check out a few of their favorite lunches we’ll be making for the upcoming school year.

  • Cheese quesadillas, strawberries + blueberries, pb crackers, yogurt covered pretzels.
  • PBJ, red bell pepper + hummus, granola/dried cranberry/pecan/cheerio mix, grapes + blueberries.
  • Turkey Hawaiian rolls, cubed cheese, carrots + yogurt dip, dried apricots + dried pineapple.
  • Blueberry muffins, cherry tomatoes, banana chips + pecans, blueberries.

Thanks to Pottery Barn for partnering on this post!
