I always realize summer is flying by when Father’s Day is right around the corner! The five of us are his favorite fans. He’s the best super hero, dinosaur pretender, and thief of the most contagious giggles. We absolutely adore Aaron. He makes the kids feel so special when he opens up their hand-written cards and love notes. Father’s Day is such a great way for us to celebrate him for all that he means to us. I love these holidays for the way I feel when I think about how grateful I am to have him as the sweet father of my 4 babes. He’s full of energy, love, tickles, and we are entirely too lucky to call him their daddy!
We love to spoil him with handmade gifts and cards each year! But it’s extra fun to splurge on gifts since he rarely ever buys anything for himself! I’ve recently pulled him out of a 7 year routine of skimping on dinner on the days he went to meetings after school. He’d stop by the grocery store bakery for the free sample cookies because he didn’t want to waste a dollar on a McDonalds burger for a quick dinner. He’s also never eaten fast food for lunch at school and preferred to always take a small meal from home and steam a bag of veggies to fill him up. This guy can be ENTIRELY too selfless.
