Hey Lovelies! This weekend flew by way too fast and I have a feeling that will be trending for the summer. My sister just had her 3rd baby, the sweetest little Emmi, which meant her 2 older kids spent a couple days playing at our house. The cousins all had a ton of fun with minimal fighting, yay! I can’t tell you how much I LOVE living next to my siblings. View Post
My “Not-So-Diet” Diet
Hi babes! I’ve been getting a bunch of requests to share what a typical day of eating looks like for me. Lately, I’ve been snapping on Instastories some of my favorite quick-to-make meals that are healthy and I’ll include those recipes here! Let me start off by saying, I’m not extreme with eating strict in any way. I love my huge salads for lunch while spending the night snacking on chocolate and ice-cream. Balance is my jam. View Post

Getting Your Babycakes Sleeping 8 Hours by 8 Weeks!
Happy Saturday, friends! I’m laughing right now at the idea that I’m about to share my routine for how I’ve been able to get all 4 of my babies to sleep 8 hours by 8 weeks considering I’m 100% on survival mode from my baby’s growth spurt over the past 3 days. Y’all, growth spurts catch me off guard every time and they hit like a ton of bricks. The entire schedule gets tossed out and they feed all the time. At that point, I think the best thing to do is to go with the flow and ride it out with your baby since growth spurts come every 3-4 weeks.
SO, sleep training. I hate it. I don’t enjoy this part of rearing children. But looking back, View Post
Adding a Baby is an Easy Transition…
Said NO mom ever with a brand new baby. It has felt exhausting to make sure everyone is fed, dressed, bathed, diapers changed (and yes.. I still have a twin toddler still in his diaper), and quality time with mom and dad. Before our 4th baby arrived, I already felt stretched thin with managing our 3-year old twins and 5-year old daughter, teaching fitness classes and exercising regularly, cleaning, groceries. laundry, dating my husband, reaching out to friends & family, growing my social media platforms, etc.
What I’ve learned in the last 7 weeks of being a mama to 4 kids is that there is NO real great way to balance everything. View Post
Avery’s Baby Blessing
One of my sweetest memories with each of my babies is the blessing given to them by their daddy. Yesterday, my darling husband gave Avery the most tender blessing during our church service. I will always remember the feelings of peace and love that I felt from his words. View Post
Baby Avery
I DIED when I first viewed this gallery with photos of Avery! The styling, vibrance, and colors are better than I could’ve dreamed of! Scheduling this newborn session with Krystal was one of the best decisions I made during the pregnancy. Unfortunately, I ended up having a kidney/uterine infection a few days after giving birth. With 5 days filled with fevers and horrid back pain (felt exactly like my back labor!) around the clock, I had to reschedule her session. Once I was 24 hours fever-free, I dressed my 4 littles and slapped a whole lot of concealer underneath my eyes. We drove nearly 1.5 to have these gorgeous photos captured. And now I’m going to baby spam the crap out of this blog post with my favorite shots because they’re too good not to share of our sweet baby Avery. View Post
6 Weeks Post-Partum
Hi everyone! It’s a cloudy Saturday afternoon and I have sweet baby Avery snoozing her little dreams away on my bed right next to me. It’s calm, peaceful, and the only moment I’ve had to hop on here to jot down a short update! It’s been 6 weeks since this baby girl has made me a mama of 4. I get asked all the time what that’s been like. Well, it’s been crazy, fun, chaotic, sweet, and exhausting. I basically have no clue what I’m doing! We still haven’t reached the milestone of having a solid daily routine because I am 100% winging it each day. And that’s when I realize it’s pretty great not having a handbook to parenting so that I don’t have to feel like I’m butchering this motherhood gig. The kids have embraced having a little sister and that’s made my world go round. View Post
Baby Bump + Family
So, I wasn’t planning on doing maternity pictures with this last pregnancy. I mean, I was flying by the seat of my pants and taking life one day at a time. And planning a maternity shoot sounded exhausting to my pregnant self (dramatic much? 😉 )But then my cute friend Emily said to me, “What other time in your life will you have the perfect excuse to get dolled up and look like a princess?!” SOLD. Count me in. And especially since I knew this sweet bump was my last, a photo would literally include all my 4 babies. I’ll be totally honest, I also knew I would NEVER miss this pregnancy belly (HA!) but I really wanted it documented since the belly would be forever expired. HALLELUJAH! Just give me all the babies. Diastasis Recti + Pregnancy
Hey friends! Hope you’re having a lovely week! I celebrated my birthday yesterday with a full day of jammies, Torchy’s Tacos, the prettiest bouquet of ivory flowers from my Loverbuns, an evening of shoe shopping, and a Chilis Molten Lava cake to-go (because my nursing body was basically exploding to see baby Avery). THANKS for all the sweet birthday wishes yesterday over on Instagram. I read through every message and it was the sweetest cherry on top!
Alright, lets talk about the ‘mummy tummy’… the ‘gap’… or in other words Diastasis Recti. I receive tons of messages about how to prevent and heal Diastasis Recti (DR). In this post, I’ll share my experience with what I did during my 3rd pregnancy to protect my DR from worsening and what I’m currently doing now that I’m 4 weeks post-partum. **Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor! Married to a hot one, but I’m no doctor!**
3 Weeks Post-Partum
Hi everyone! Can I just reach through this computer screen and give you a big ol’ hug?! Thanks for all the love and encouragement y’all left on my last Instagram post. I read through every comment and private message and all of your kind words made my heart melt! It’s great to know that some of my experiences might be helpful and give you encouragement. And apparently I’m not alone in having issues with navigating through pregnancy and post-partum life. View Post
Hello World!
Hi! I finally did it, y’all. I created this small corner of the Internet in hopes of sharing my passions on mothering, fitness, fashion, and everything in between. What fanned the flame to begin blogging was my message box in Instagram always overflowing with questions regarding exercising during and after pregnancy, healthy diets, baby schedules, dressing a baby bump, hair tutorials, etc. Since Instagram doesn’t have enough caption space for all of my chatter, Hello Ivory Rose was born.
