We’ve had such a fun day with family in town! Aaron’s older brother and his cute family of 6 get to stay with us for 2 weeks! We are so excited for a fun family reunion! We don’t have any guest bedrooms in our home, which means we get to play magical chairs with all the little people in the various rooms. The 2 adults will stay in the girl’s bedroom. Since their room has become a “guest room” of sorts, we decided to order 2 mattresses that both our kids and adults would enjoy. My kids have never been picky with mattresses. For heavens sake, I’ll occasionally find them sleeping upside down or on the floor, haha. But most of us slightly-pickier-adults have had the experience of staying somewhere with a mattress that’s no good….can make for a rough stay!
Review
The mattress we chose was by Perfect Cloud. They carry both a hybrid and a full memory foam mattress. We chose the Elegance Foam Mattress for their twin beds and couldn’t have made a better choice! They are perfect! It’s medium-firm with lots of layers underneath making it a whopping 12″. What I love most is when I lay down on top, my body feels hugged by the mattress without feeling as if I’m stuck in quicksand. It’s fantastic! There are 4 layers: the top is an Air-Infused memory foam that gives off that “hugs me like a cloud” feeling while the layer right underneath is the Air-Infused support foam. Y’all, for me there’s nothing worse than when a bed is too soft. Especially while my hubby tries to cuddle, haha. I mean, you know. When you just cave in together in the middle of the bed? It’s awful. And does NOT make my back happy the next morning. It’s the combination of these 2 types of memory and support foams that create the perfect mattress for me. Then, there’s a few inches of Gel-foam to help keep things cool. And finally the base of support foam.

My husband and i desperately need a new one as our current one is getting lumpy and has started to cause medical problems with our backs and posture. I have an extremely sensitive neck and back so weirdly I like mine pretty firm! You’d think it would be the opposite but I don’t like when my bum sinks lower than my upper body in the mattress!🤷🏻♀️

Before I was pregnant I liked a firm mattress, but after having the baby everything switched on me! My poor husband had to purchase a new mattress while I was pregnant so I can sleep better now that baby is here I’m trying to convince him to buy a softer mattress!

We like in the middle mattresses for sure. We tried soft with the mattress before our current mattress and since my hubs is a foot taller than me and twice my weight I would always sink an roll into him. 🙂
