Hair Care Trick in 1 Minute!

Let’s talk hair. I’ve been having my hair highlighted for the last 10 years. I’ve always had blonde hair, but when I reached my twenties my hair began to lose its brightness. For 2 years, I hired someone else to highlight my hair and often felt disappointed with the color. Mix in our poor college life, and then 7 years of dental school + residency, so my hubby and I decided to hit up our trusty YouTube and Google and together we learned how to highlight my hair! It has been a rollercoaster to figure out the right color, processing times, strengths, etc. AND my hair has been nearly every color of the rainbow (not on purpose :-)). We’ve figured it out and I’ve loved my hair for the last few years. Per your request, next month I’m finally sharing all the things for how we highlight my hair.

No one escapes the damage from over-processed hair! Five months ago, I stopped breastfeeding and the change in hormones completely messed with my hair. I kid you not, literally half my hair broke off. It was wild and if I’m being honest, it was devastating. We all have our thing, and I found so much joy in my hair! Since that happened, I’ve been diligent about upping my hair game to new levels to hopefully get it back to a healthy state. And since Pantene released their new Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots, it’s just another reason for me to skip the salon and stay at home for a deep intensive rescue treatment.

THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS: I simply swap out my conditioner once a week and apply the single-dose tube of the Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shot in my hair for 30 seconds and then rinse out for 30 seconds. How fast and easy is that?! Because y’all, I have a lot of leave-in conditioner but I do not want to put the time in to sit in my shower for a half hour for the leave-in treatments. All of my kids would have knocked on my shower door for the umpteenth time asking for snacks, milk, or just to hang out and tell me what they’re doing. Y’all mamas know what I’m talking about! The Intense Rescue Shots work for me because they’re too simple not to add in to my routine.

Who Would Love This? Color-treated and heat-styled hair can mean a loss of nutrients leaving hair rough, dull and rigid – a recipe for a bad hair day. Pantene is using Brazil’s secret to a great hair day and bringing it to the U.S. in the form of Intense Rescue Shots. Ideal for color-treated and heat-styled hair, this new product aims to rescue your hair and repair extreme damage while giving you more great hair days. This shot delivers salon-like hair between professional treatments. Unlike other hair masks and treatments the new Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots provide deep-conditioning but rinses quickly to avoid weighed-down hair

HAIR CARE TRICK IN 1 MINUTE:

  1. Shower: shampoo as usual
  2. SWAP OUT CONDITIONER with Pantene ProV Rescue Shot
  3. Apply generously to fully saturate hair, root-to-tip (focusing on damaged spots!) The product was formulated to prevent overdosing so unlike other hair treatments, no need to hold back!
    It is single use!
  4. Leave in for 30 seconds
  5. Rinse for 30 seconds (don’t over-rinse!)
  6. Style as usual.

Since I am working on my hair health, I try to let my hair air-dry and then I’ll spend a few minutes curling my hair. If you have ANY questions for me about my hair, please drop them in the comments below and I’ll answer them asap! The Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots are available now at Pantene.com – see here.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Pantene. The opinions and text are all mine.

Hey Karolina! Yes! I had the post partum hair fall-out after every birth. As soon as my babies turned 3 months old, my hair fell out until they were about 6 months old. For me, it’s a solid 3 months of insane hair-loss. Arg! But then it slowly grows back. I had an unusual experience with having hair break off after I finished nursing Avery when she turned 18 months old. That’s been frustrating, but I’m navigating through it and using new products that are DEFINITELY making a positive change in the way my hair feels. Hormones are crazy!

Hey there! I have to ask: have you ever tried lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide as a “hair dying” solution? My hair is blonde, but it’s starting to lose it’s bright color, so I’m curiously looking into quasi natural ways to color my hair.

Hey! When i was in high school I totally used those products! I wouldn’t suggest them since they’re much more damaging. There certainly are safer, more natural hair coloring products tho! I’ll share next month

Hi Sarah! I’m going to be doing a post or two in the next few weeks about highlighting my hair. I’ll include more on what I do to keep it healthy. And I’ve done stories on Instagram in the past for my messy bun. I’ll have to do that again and save it to my story highlights. Stay tuned!

Try not to stress by hair loss. I was facing the same problem and anxious by my hair loss then I wear hair wigs that are similar to my own hairstyle. I would suggest going to zaynting.com online store if you decide to shop.
    I hope this helps.
