TGIF!!! Happy Friday, y’all! Are you ready for summer?? The heat waves are freely flowing here in Texas. Summer is in full swing and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment my kids wake up they are in their swimmers ready to hit the pool. We have been LIVING in the pool! I would love to find some great pool toys that won’t pop and will last at least a few years.

Blue Lizard Sunscreen has been a must-have! It’s mineral-based, not chemical which means it’s more safe, clean, and provides better protection. The bottle goes from white to red when it’s in harmful UV light, super cool to watch! It’s not thick and greasy gross while also have zero smell. It’s formulated with the highest grade

The fabulous thing about this sunscreen is that it receives a top rank in the Environmental Working Group (EWG). This huge screening process rates sunscreen safety, definitely worth looking up your current sun products to check how they legitimately hold up in the ranks! Snag it on Amazon HERE.

Here’s my favorite SUNSCREEN 101 Facts:

  1. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation sustaining five or more sunburns in youth increases lifetime risk for melanoma by 80 percent.
  2. A baby’s skin is especially delicate and burns more easily. Their sensitive skin contains less melanin, the pigment that gives our hair and eyes their color and offers some sun protection.
  3. Anything over SPF 30 is no longer recommended by dermatologists as the extra protection is negligible and the additional chemicals may cause skin reactions in some kids.
  4. Older children should learn to apply sunscreen themselves, and make it a routine habit.
  5. Even sunscreens that are water-resistant still need to be reapplied at least every two hours.

If you’re lucky enough to have a sunny next couple of days, remember to slather your skin with protection and have a wonderful, warm weekend!

Happy Sunday, sweet friends!!! It’s sunny and gorgeous outside! I love this time of year, in between spring and summer. We’re soaking up the longer days outside and the kids are giddy as all get out to jump in their pool! Bring on the early summer days!

It’s Mother’s Day in a few short weeks!! What a great reminder to step back and feel extra gratitude and love for the mother’s in my life. This holiday also helps me feel more abundance in the efforts I put into this calling I love so dearly. My husband usually asks me if there’s anything extra he can do to View Post

Her cake smash session was short, sweet, and so much fun. It was 3 weeks before her birthday when I honestly realized it was THREE WEEKS BEFORE HER BIRTHDAY. I love a garden, romantic boho theme but here in Texas March is full of plenty of cold and warm days. It was 1-2 weeks before her birthday when I asked my friend Emily if she could shoot the session outdoors since the weather would be warm and sunny! It all came together SO beautifully.

It’s been a cute tradition to do this 1st birthday cake smash and if you scroll allllll the way down to the bottom of this post you’ll find Savannah’s + the twin’s session. Savannah’s was beautiful as well. The twin’s session was a HOT MESS. I’ll share my favorite unedited pics at the end of this post, HAHA! View Post

Good morning, lovelies! I’m FINALLY sharing a detailed guide of how I curl my hair! Whether you have short, long, or medium-length hair this will work for you! I’ve had lots of requests to share this tutorial and I thought there was no better time than being thick in the trenches of post-partum hair loss. HaHa! View Post

Happy fall, y’all! Cooler temps have officially hit the mid 50’s and I’m not even sad about it. Especially since it’ll probably be back in the 90’s this weekend, LOL. Is it swimsuits or chunky knit sweaters?? I love the transition from Summer to Fall. It’s a bit nostalgic since that’s when Aaron and I were newlyweds doing allllll the fun things BYU kids do in Utah. Here’s a few things happening in October.
